🔐Access for Students
- Choose your course.
- Click on the “Brian – AI Tutor” button on the side-panel.
Every course needs to be launched one by one via Canvas. Once you have launched Brian, you can still learn on the mobile device by clicking on “Settings” (gear wheel at top right) / “Switch to mobile”.
Access to Brian needs to be enabled by your teachers first. See instructions below.

To activate Brian for your students, please follow these instructions
Specific instructions for Canvas
- Choose your course.
- Click on “Settings” → “Navigation”.
- Drag “Brian – AI Tutor” to the top section to activate Brian.
- Click “Save” at the bottom of the page.
- Click on the “Brian – AI Tutor” button on the side-panel to launch and activate Brian.
- Follow the instructions to set up your course on Brian.
- Congratulations, your course is now active.
If you have sub-courses from a blueprint course, you need to follow these steps individually for each sub-course. Activating Brian on the blueprint course does not automatically set up Brian on all sub-courses.
