Brian is now available via Moodle.
🔐Access for Students
- Go to your course on Moodle
- Click on the “Brian – AI Tutor” button in the list of activities
Access to Brian needs to be enabled by your teachers first. See instructions below ⚠️
👩🏼🏫 Brian set up for Teachers
To activate Brian for your students, please follow these instructions or watch this video.
Step 1: Add Brian as an activity in your course
This must be done on each course in which you want to activate Brian
1. Open your course in Moodle and enable the “edit mode” with the toggle in the top right corner
2. Click on the “+” sign to “Add content”
3. Pick “Activity or Resource”
4. Select Brian
5. Enter the Activity Name “Activate Brian – AI Tutor” and “save and return to course”
We suggest to also write a little note to the students in activity description:
“This button sets up Brian. In order to use Brian for this course, you need to click on this button at least once. Otherwise, you will not see the course in Brian, and none of the links related to it will work.”
Step 2: Setup your course on Brian
Adding Brian as an activity is not enough.
Please click on the newly added activity “Launch Brian” yourself (as a teacher) and follow the instructions in Brian to link it to a course in Brian.
🎉 Congratulation, Brian is now available on Moodle. Students will now directly launch Brian and see the learning environment when clicking on the course.
