Once quiz questions have been created, they can be adapted and improved at any time. You can revise the question itself, the answer options, and the explanation for students.
Manually editing a question
In the quiz overview, click on the question you want to edit. The detailed view of the question will open. You can click directly on the text fields to change the question text, answer options, or explanation.
Improve answer options with the help of AI
In addition to manual editing, you also have the option of using AI to improve your questions. Below your existing answers, you will find buttons to generate additional answer options.
You can choose between two options:
Generate correct answers: This option creates another correct answer alternative for your question. (Important: This option is only available for multiple-choice questions. It is not available for single-choice questions.)
Generate distractors: A distractor is an answer that sounds plausible but is incorrect. Good distractors make a question more challenging and meaningful, as they require a deeper understanding of the topic.
This process is ideal for refining a question step by step.
For example, if you don't like an existing distractor, you can generate one or more new ones, select the best one and then delete the old one.
Delete questions
If you want to remove one or more questions completely, there are two ways to do this:
In the question overview
Select the desired questions by activating the checkbox next to each question. Then click "Delete" in the bottom right corner. This lets you delete multiple questions at once.

In the detail view of a single question
If you're already in a question's detail view, you can delete it directly from there: simply click "Delete" in the bottom right corner.

Set editing status
To keep track of your progress when creating a quiz, you can set a status for each question.
