What exactly is the Info Page?
Alongside Quiz, AI Dialogue, and Chatbot, the Info Page is the fourth activity type available in Brian.
It lets you add text, images, videos, files, and external content directly to your course. This makes it possible to convey information, but also to embed any kind of task or activity from other tools or websites seamlessly into the learning path.
The Info Page …
- is designed for delivering and embedding content, not for testing knowledge
- doesn't provide formative feedback
- can simply be marked as complete by students once they've gone through it
- is part of the activity landscape and therefore part of students' learning paths
What can the Info Page be used for?
The Info Page works well for a wide range of purposes, for example:
- as a content repository for relevant documents and materials in a course
- as an introduction or transition between course units
- for a short course description, e.g., how to use the course or course-wide learning objectives
- to embed external content, tasks, or activities, bringing offerings from outside Brian into the course
How do I add an Info Page?
In the course overview, simply click "+ Add Activity", then select "Info Page."

You can then give the Info Page a name and fill it with content: text, images, videos, files, or links to external content. You also set how many points the Info Page awards – students receive these once they mark the page as complete. You can also add documents that students will see directly on the Info Page.
