How do I change the order of questions in a quiz?

for teachers 👩🏼‍🏫

Spaced repetition and linear mode

In quiz mode, Brian works with spaced repetition by default: questions are shown to students at individually optimized intervals to maximize learning outcomes.

Students can also choose to work through a quiz in linear mode. In this mode, questions appear one after another, in the order you set as the teacher.

How do I change the order of questions?

You can adjust the order of questions within a quiz at any time. To do this, click the icon with six dots to the left of a question and drag it to the position you want.

I can't see the six dots — what can I do?

Drag-and-drop only works when the question list is sorted by question number (#). If you sort the list by, for example, status, the six dots won't be displayed and questions can't be moved.

In this case, simply click the # icon in the column header to sort the list by question number again. You can then reorder the questions by drag-and-drop.
