Important: When you need to copy an entire course (for example, because you want to use it with a different class or in a new semester), it is advisable to simply create a new course period. This way, the course can be edited for all cohorts at the same time.
I want to copy individual parts (modules, topics, questions) of one course into another course.
Copying Course Units
On your course's Content page, you can copy Course Units by clicking on the box on the far left of the desired module and then on the blue “Copy...” button in the bottom right corner. This allows you to copy the learning unit to another course. To insert the learning unit into another course, the respective course must be selected.
Quizzes and AI Dialogues
On your course's Content page, you can copy individual quizzes and AI Dialogues by clicking on the box on the far left of the desired topic and then on the blue “Copy...” button in the bottom right corner. To insert the quiz/AI dialogue into another course, the course and the respective learning unit must be selected.
Questions
When viewing the list of questions within a given quiz, you can copy one or more questions by first clicking on the box(es) on the far left of the desired question(s) and then on the blue “Copy ...” button in the bottom right corner. To insert the questions into another quiz, the course, the learning unit and the respective quiz must be selected.
The questions can also be duplicated by clicking on the blue “Duplicate” button.
