How do I create a quiz without a textual basis?

When you don't have a good text to hand, the option "Generate new materials" can be used to create a study quiz with questions and explanations. It is important to check and edit the AI text proposal before submitting it.

How do I use the AI-Dialogue mode in the natural sciences?

An AI dialog can either be created using templates or in Pro Mode.

The following templates are currently available:

  • Explain a concept: Here students need to explain a concept and evaluate it in context. Examples of concepts: entropy; recessive genes; magnetism; photosynthesis; chaos theory.
  • Relate two terms: Here, students must first explain two terms or concepts individually and then analyze their relationship. Examples of pairs of terms: chromosome and DNA; mass and kinetic energy.
  • Open-ended questions: Any kind of open-ended question can be asked here, which the students answer in free text. Examples of questions: “What are the most important physical characteristics of mollusks?”; “If I put a tea bag in hot water, the water slowly turns brown. Why?"

Tip: AI Dialogues can be contextualized by adding (via copy and paste) a text in the Pro Mode to the box entitled: internal instructions for the chatbot. Simply add this phrase, followed by the text: "The following text serves as context for this exercise: [TEXT]." If the AI dialogue is created using the chatbot, the background information can be provided to the chatbot directly as a document during creation.

For more information about the AI dialogue mode and how to use the Pro Mode, see: AI Dialogue: Concept and Creation
